The National Chamber Ensemble (NCE) closes its 2025–2026 season with Mozart and Brahms: The Great Concertos on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 7:30 PM at Gunston Arts Center – Theater 1 .
A program of grandeur and intimacy, the evening pairs two towering concertos in a rare chamber format—revealing both their emotional sweep and intricate artistry . Pianist Carlos César Rodríguez brings virtuosic brilliance to Mozart’s beloved Piano Concerto No. 21 (“Elvira Madigan”), while NCE Artistic Director Leo Sushansky performs the iconic Brahms Violin Concerto in a deeply expressive, personal setting .
Tickets are $45 adult / $25 student (general admission) . NCE also offers a flexible viewing option: ticket holders may attend in person and/or view at home, with a concert video sent after the performance . Free parking is available at the venue .
