This Month's Topic: Retaining Employees by Building Supportive Workplaces
Description
This session, lead by Edgar Ndjatou, Principal at Officium, LLC, will focus on practical, real-world strategies small businesses can use to improve retention by strengthening workplace culture and day to day employee experience. We will cover how clear expectations, consistent communication, manager behaviors, and fair processes directly impact morale, productivity, and turnover risk. The discussion will also include creative approaches to providing meaningful employee benefits even when budgets are limited, helping organizations remain competitive without overextending financially. Attendees will leave with actionable tactics to create supportive environments where employees feel heard, respected, and motivated to stay, along with guidance on addressing early warning signs before they become costly departures.
