Let me just start out by saying I don't know how to golf. I tagged along with my boyfriend and his friend who wanted to go, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of fun I had here. We came around 9 pm on a Saturday night (back in July) and it was definitely a busy time - there was already a line just to pay for your games and then another hour or so of waiting before we got a lane.

How it works is you pay $5 for a game card - the game card can be shared between your whole party, but some people prefer to buy their own individual game cards and have them registered under their own names so each person can keep track of their points if they wanted to compete. We knew we weren't going to really be all that competitive so we stuck with one game card, but know it is an option to register multiple players in one game if you wanted to, you just have to pay a little more. Each game came out to $8 and I can't exactly remember if it's 20 or 25 balls per game, but you take your game card and swipe it at a ball dispenser near one of the doors and it will register and count out each of your golf balls. Golf club rentals come included with game purchase! (there were 3 of us and they let us have one bag of Men's and one bag of Women's clubs)

For the hour we were waiting, we decided to get some munchies in the bar area. We ordered cheese fries that came out to around $12. It took a good 15 minutes or so for the order to come in and unfortunately the portion was a little smaller than I expected. Regardless, it did the job to keep us occupied enough until our space was ready.

It was heavily raining and thunder storming when we went, but the playing area is well covered so the rain didn't bother us too much. Onto game play, you swipe your card on the monitor to register the player and drop your balls into this container by the hitting mat. This was my first time at top golf so I was pretty impressed by the scoring system. You hit your ball and if it lands in any of the targets, the system will track the ball and calculate how many points you get depending how close in proximity you landed to the hole or in the zone. Overall, I had a really godo time. I was really terrible and only earned probably 15 points in the whole 3 games but it was fun to try! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for some affordable but fun entertainment!

Can you get anything better than the Original Topgolf?!!! You have to consider they run on a different system but I do think the system is still efficient. This system is the UK system which charges you per game rather than per hour. You know exactly what you are paying for and I have no complaints about that. Either system works for me. The food here is delicious, the beer pitchers are priced well, and it's perfect for big groups. I love that you have a waiter as well, so you don't have to take time to go order food and drinks.

This is a perfect date, family outing, or place to practice your golf swing. I love this place because you don't have to be a member of a country club to enjoy a good innovative way to golf. Smartest company ever for doing this. It is way better than put put golf. You really get to play the game like you are at a golf course without having to drive to every range. Don't get me wrong, I love the real game, but you can only play the real game with people who actually golf. Also, afford to golf. This is a must treat!!!

      Enjoying fun with friends!

I'm quite perplexed by my latest experience at Top Golf.

My dad was in town and we came on a Wednesday afternoon. The reservation table was empty so we stood in line at the counter to put our name on the waitlist to reserve a bay. The employee told us the wait would be an hour and 30 minutes and asked if we wanted to wait that long. I said yes and we got drinks at the bar. Literally less than 20 minutes later I received a text that the bay was ready.

We go upstairs to find that it's half empty. I've never felt more like my business wasn't wanted. Furthermore, staff members were seemingly everywhere, but literally only one person was friendly towards us. As soon as we finish spending the money on our membership cards we will probably start going to the Ashburn location.

Apparently this is the flagship Topgolf location and it really shows! My first Topgolf experience was in Edison, NJ where everything was technologically done: from ball dispenser at the bay, score keeping, various games, etc. Here, you need to pay for a bucket of balls which spits them out one by one. I'm not opposed to it as you're not paying by the hour so you can take your sweet *** time. The clubs that you're loaned is not a complete set, but you have your essentials to do what you need.

The food is fantastic. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and are really filling. The place is super busy so being waited on will take time and you'll have to be persistent on flagging down your waiter/waitress. Getting your food and drinks after ordering them will also take longer than it normally would, but hopefully you're busy swinging at golf balls while you're eagerly waiting.

They also have a mini golf course which is cool and great for the younger kids. I played on this while we were waiting for a bay to open up.

Overall it was a fun time. I've experienced better at other locations from service to food service, but this sufficed.

I've been to This location, Loudoun and the Vegas location. My review is for the Women's Golf Day on June 9, 2019. Greg and Mike were our trainers and they were amazing! They made all of us women feel good and encouraged us as we learned how to swing and hold golf clubs. They seem very experienced and know how to break down the basics of the game.

I met Princess who was very nice and discussed membership and general

I'm general, It's always long lines for the bays and there there needs a better system so everyone gets a chance to play. So, you may be best work reservations or calling ahead.

The only issue I have is with parking (it's horrible) and circling around can make you give up on trying to go in.

It's a great place for date nights, group outings, birthday parties and hanging with friends.

Had this place bookmarked for quite sometime and finally came on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is rough so arrive early and plan ahead (Wait time was 2 hours) Had some food and drinks while waiting.. I was not expecting fine dining but I think bowling alley food is a little better then here. I had chicken nachos w/ a side of tator tots and a sangria and my friend had their wings. The sangria was watered-down and then I later had a Frosé which was ok and they only give a 1/2 glass full on that drink. I even tried a Manmosa to give it 1 last shot but it just wasn't a go lol.

Like in a few other previous reviews, there are a ton of gnats inside b/c the staff are in and out the door all the time. I enjoyed my 1st golfing experience and the staff outside the puting area were really nice but I'll eat before coming next time around.

I have been coming here for years and we always have a good time. It's a great spot for work events, just a night out with friends, or even a great date night spot. The food is decent and they have a pretty good beer and wine selection (no liquor).

The one negative, which is especially annoying if you are not prepared for it, is that you will most likely have to wait a considerable amount of time for an open bay. Almost every time we come there is an hour to two hour wait if you do not have a reserved bay/time slot so just be prepared for that or make the reservation. Some times they are a bit slow at getting open bays to the check-in area which can delay the wait but I think they are getting slightly better.

The golf games you are able to play are always a good time and all levels from beginner to pro are perfectly fine participating. Each game consists of 20 balls per person but there are varying ways to play the games.

The food a few years ago was excellent and much better than just standard bar food, which gave us another reason to go since we always eat there as well. I do think the food quality has gone down some recently and is not a good as it once was. The past few times there we have all felt underwhelmed by the food we received. Nonetheless, you are most likely going there for golf or one of their games along with drinking and hanging out so it's not necessarily that big of a deal.

I chose this TopGolf location for my Supper Club group to gather for my birthday on July 14th. Before I arrived, I talked to my friends who were already there and learned that the parking sucked. The parking lot is super difficult to park in. Thankfully, as I pulled into the lot from the main street, someone was pulling out of a corner spot and I swooped right in before someone else could get it. Some of my friends had to keep circling the lot for a while. Oh, and FYI - TopGolf shares that lot with Ruby Tuesday. There was even an altercation happening over a parking spot while we were there.

Fast forward to our check in process - Brandon was awesome! He explained everything for us first timers. He even recommended that we get a lifetime member play card for $40 versus each of us getting a $5 card. It turned out to be a better deal. On top of that, he left his front desk post to walk us to our bay. The young lady that was a hostess came out to check on us since she originally was going to escort us back. When our bay hostess came, she was also nice and tried her best to accommodate our needs. Our problem wasn't with her, it was with the slow service and lack of menu items.

Service was extremely slow!! They were out of all the summer specials on the menu both food and drinks at 7 p.m. The lettuce on the chicken lettuce wraps was disgusting - no human should eat that!! Moscato should never come in a can. One of my friends found a hair on the napkin. I think we all agreed that the service here sucked and some of the food was not worth ordering again. What made our experience a good one was the atmosphere of the guys next to our bay and the general fun we always have as a group.

It's safe to say that you don't come here for the food or service. Would I return? Yes! Because I have two games left on my play card. Lol

Some guy that worked there that wanted to sing Happy Birthday to me.

TLDR: This place is lots of fun with some good food. It's a bit pricey though, and I wish they explained the different clubs. Also there was a long wait and check in was a bit confusing, since I had to keep going back to different lines. Overall a good experience.

A friend and I decide to check this place out and we weren't disappointed but there were a few hiccups. We couldn't make reservations, I guess that's only for parties of six or more. Parking was a bit tight, but I managed to find a spot fairly quickly. On nicer days I imagine it gets really full. I waited in line for ten minutes to put my name down for a bay, only to be told I was in the wrong line. There weren't any signs saying which lines are for what, so that was kind of annoying. We waited for an hour and had a few drinks. The bar tender wasn't the most attentive and we had to flag him down, but once we did he was very friendly and quick. Later on I had to return to the original line and wait another ten minutes to get a players card. Yay line waiting.

There are two floors to play from, and it seems the second floor is easier for newer players. We were on the second floor. Each bay has a table and some chairs and an open view to the range. You register your golf ball and the system tracks where the ball lands and assigns points accordingly. It's really fun and the first time I've done anything like this. We spent four hours there (including wait time), but when we were playing time flew. The food was really great and the server constantly checked on us to make sure we were taken care of.

The reason I gave four stars is I wish the clubs were explained as well as a minute or two explanation on how to properly hit the ball. Waiting in the same line twice was kind of obnoxious too. Games were $12 each I think, but the food was surprisingly cheap. I will definitely be back at some point!

Oh how we wish we could be in maryland. It was the best of times it was the worst of times. Word to the wise: they do not serve liquor. They also are out of all good beer. You have two options: miller lite or some overpriced amber. Let's discuss the staff. There were so many of them but the vast majority didn't seem to have a purpose. The manager explained and re-explained the pricing in different ways several times in a way that made us feel pressured to buy more. We ultimately were confused and didn't get a proper option for our group. The girl at the front asked for help and the manager said quote "no" and kept walking. We got the wrong clubs for our group and bags of mixed right and left clubs. What a fun guessing game! On the bright side, our group has a good sense of humor. On the down side literally everything else.

Also our sever sniffed our pitchers-- like she put her nose in our pitcher-- to determine which was the miller lite and which was the cider. What a disaster. Go to maryland.

Edit: upgrade your software past windows 95!

On a saturday there were basically no beers available to order. Also we got the wrong beer 3 times
