I went for a family cooking class and it was great! chef David and Chef Tony gave insight to why certain methods are used and best practices while preparing your dish. My daughter said i must bring her back!

Booked here for an anniversary cooking class with my bf. We flew into town the same day as the cooking class, and were super excited to try it. But that ended up being the extent of our excitement. I opted for this particular class because it's one of my favorite cuisines, and I eat it weekly. (Piri piri shrimp, Jollof rice and beef suya, also banana fritters)

It is located within the mall, so that was helpful as I also made reservations somewhere else for after. Luckily it was literally doors down

Now back to this place. We walked in and the host asked if we had reservations and I advised we do. She told us to go down the hall and that was it. As we walked down the hall, there were a lot of classroom type entrances and doors. So we were not sure exactly where to go. So we just hoped for the best. We eventually confirmed we were in the right room after about 10 minutes. Very unorganized.

We were informed two of the patrons who paid would not be attending, which was fine with the group because we had more room to maneuver. But unfortunately they ended up showing up 1/2 through the class, and that took away from the time of those who showed up on time. The chef was busy trying to catch them up and teach us, and everyone's meal was burnt and barely edible.

We walked into a kitchen and there were tables with our ingredients underneath. The food was room temperature, so I am not sure how long it had been sitting out. Quite sure it probably wasn't a safe temperature & that explains why our stomachs were in shambles the following days.

The shrimp, all we did was "marinate" in coconut milk and minimal seasoning. We grabbed saute pan and cooked the shrimp & the chef already chose to pre make the sauce ahead of the class. (Was not happy about this) the sauce was very very sweet. 3/10

The beef suya was nowhere near authentic. It was not thinly sliced beef with dry-rubbed spices. The chef had us cut them in chunks as if we were making kabobs. The marinade for the beef suya & the actual meal were disgusting. There was no mixture of nutty, smokey, and spiced. It was pretty much peanut butter beef that was overcooked by the chef (we did not get to cook our own skewers) -133930/10

The jollof rice was a joke. There was no tomato base nor traditional spices and chilies. Chef Troy told us to follow his instruction carefully yet the entire class burned the skimp amount of onion provided for the rice. The whole kitchen smelled burnt and was smoked out. 1/10

      Banana fritters
The direction for making these were lacking. He just said scoop some in the oil and flip it. He didn't advise us how, how much, for how long, no example of how they should look. I give an extra star because we figured out to make them ourselves 2/10

The chef had a punch he made for the class that he advised had liquor in it, but it was lacking. He did say we could order more drinks for a charge but he would be the bartender so to take it easy on him. Since the mom and her young son came late & needed a lot of attention, I opted out of ordering additional drinks.

I left a message regarding my experience and haven't heard anything back, definitely feel a refund is owed.

Overall it is absolutely not worth the money. You can buy the ingredients and watch YouTube for cheaper in the comfort of your own home. Definitely do not travel for this like we did.

My fiancé and I came for date night and Chef Troy and Gloria were professional, effective, and fun instructors! We cooked rockfish, fingerling potatoes, and a lemon tart. The space and ingredients were well-prepared and they paid a lot of attention on safety, knife skills, and cleanliness of the table. We then ate the meal together with the other couples attending and had wonderful conversations. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back!

We cooked, we learned, we ate, and through it all, we had a blast!

My wife and I attended an evening class for couples on making Korean Tacos and two types of Bulgogi. After the 10-person class enjoyed our welcome cocktail, two kinds of rum, lychee nuts, Grand Marnier, and a bit of Sprite, we settled down to work.

Each two-person cooking station was already set up with all the ingredients and equipment. Even though there are a staggering number of ingredients in Korean food, Chef Mark explained their organization, and everything made more sense. He also explained his process of building dishes, and that's affected how we've approached our cooking in general.

Once we got down to business, it was Chef Mark, or as he liked to be called, "Mark," explaining, then demonstrating a portion of the preparation, then the class following along. Amongst all that were his suggestions about ingredient selections (not all cabbages are created equal), techniques (toss out your measuring spoons), and even a nifty way to julienne carrots.

Then it all came together! We got to sit and enjoy the meal we just made. And it was surprisingly delicious. Better still, the ingredients provided yielded enough for us to have lots of leftovers to take home in the provided containers.

When you consider what you get, a delicious cocktail, knowledge, entertainment, dinner, and at least lunch the following day, the cost of the class is an excellent value.

I recently booked a private team-building event at Cookology and it was such a great experience! We did their "mystery basket" experience where you have 60 minutes to plan, prepare, and plate a meal (similar to the show Chopped). I was so nervous at first, but Chef Mark Chang was so friendly and VERY patient with my group's various cooking skill levels. Everyone has a blast and we plan to do another team-building event like this again in the future!

I booked a Halloween treats making class for my kiddies (ages 10 and 5) on Halloween day, and loved everything about the class! My kids got to make whoopie pies, hot cocoa, and pumpkin shaped rice krispy treats. I enjoyed that each family's table was spaced out and the ingredients were all pre-measured out and ready for us. The chef instructor went at the perfect speed and ensured all were following along before moving along to the next step. And, the treats turned out super delicious!! We even had some extra whoopie pie batter that we were able to take home with us. My children have been asking to return ever since.

We have never done a cooking class before. This one was amazing! We did a Lobster Mac & Cheese dish with Caesar salad and a lava cake. All of the food was delicious. Chef Patrick was amazing and I would go to any class he teaches. He is very knowledgeable and experienced but really takes the time to explain his techniques and guide you through each step. He made the whole class fun and it was a really great time with a great meal at the end. Highly recommend and we will be back for a Chef Patrick class!

We attended the doughnut class last night and had a blast! The class and atmosphere was really geared towards having a good time, I can't wait to come back to make some sushi.

Chef Jenna helped us make glazed, chocolate, chocolate glazed, cinnamon, doughnut holes, and jelly doughnuts. Warning! One batch is enough to feed 5-6 people, not 2.
