This company should not be in business. I had my assistant file a claim for me after I had a Stroke, November 28, 2023. We're now in March. They continue to draft my account for $500 plus dollars and weekly I receive a automated letter stating: Need more information: Lee Health Document (from one of the Hospitals that I was in during my Therapy for 21 days. The terms of the Contract were that it would take -10 days. Now we're in 4 months. I am paying for the care of 24/7 at Home from my Credit Cards and Checking account. WHAT A TRAVISTY!
They prey on Seniors such as myself, make promises even through Contract that they have NO INTENTION OF PROVIDING SERVICES FOR. They delay and delay hoping that I die before they pay out.
Dictated for me by my Assistant: Brenda ChambersHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ellery F.Gautier, MS01Nov 1, 2023

Unauthorized charges, expensive. After trying to hit my business with an unauthorized charge that I stopped, they placed another one right before midnight so it's hard to dispute. Poor customer service. Definitely not for business.

This is one of the worse company to work with, their customer service is the worse, they do not care if you are in an accident nor your needs, do not even hire this company for your business, they do not care and try to take as long as possible to pay for claims if they pay. they have their number 877-CNA-ASAP (877-262-2727) but do not think you are encountering True help from the claim adjustors, they don't even let you talk to a supervisor to let them know what is going on.
People don't waste you time and money hiring this Insurance Company for your Business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa S.Salt Lake City, UT05Nov 24, 2023
I paid for long term care insurance through CNA for over 25 years. The premium was on auto-pay every quarter. Then suddenly, one quarter, they said they did not get my premium and so they canceled my policy! I argued and they asked me to send them proof of payment before the due date, which I did. Don't know why they asked for that because they just canceled it anyway. Now I have no long term care insurance and I'm reaching the age where I'm going to need it soon! And I have no children or heirs. So they basically screwed me over. DO NOT GET INSURANCE FROM THEM. Who knows what is going to happen to me. :(

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. They are absolutely hands-down the most unresponsive and inconsistent company I've ever encountered. They have and continue to escalate my account to collections even though I have called, emailed, and paid multiple times. NEVER employ them or sign onto a service that uses them as a vendor.

CNA is terrible. I've been a customer for over a decade and they struggle with even the simplest customer service tasks. Billing has one address for me but policy info goes to an old address. I've tried to correct this a half-dozen times and they just can't seem to figure it out. Based on their poor communication skills and the names they use to sign their emails, I'm guessing they have outsourced their customer service to India. They also tried to drop a bunch of "new" coverage (that I didn't need nor did I request it) into my policy and it was my responsibility to track them down, and wait on hold for 20 minutes, to cancel it. I went back and looked at my policy details and found they had done the same thing the previous year and I demanded (and received) a refund. They are shady as hell.

BEEN OUT OF WORK SINCE 4/25/23. it's June 9th 2023. smh ZERO COMMUNICATION. haven't spoke to a human other than the manager to the original adjuster I was provided. I was shuffled around and still waiting on the answer to my claim. I never expected to be left with NO ANSWERS. and months of denied requests. just to have my medical treatment approved. STILL NO ONE SPOKE TO ME. I should work for CNA. I did everything for them

This company is so bad, and transparently so, that it is comical. I have a long-term care insurance policy from them. It's clear they do not want to be in this product space and regret writing these policies so now they just want people to drop them. How to do that? Well, let's start by setting the payment date to be Sep 30th, but not sending the bills to your house till Sep 20th - god forbid you are away on vacation. Obviously this invoices are not something that can be sent to you a month in advance, god forbid that would be too hard. Payment has to be in the form of a paper check sent through the mail, nope, no electronic payments, no auto payments nothing. Paper check, in 2023. The envelope provided has a tiny transparent window with a return address. You pop your payment and check into the envelope and hey presto, the return address falls below the transparent window, so now your check is lost in the mail, you account is unpaid and your policy is canceled. You get two envelopes - one for your spouse and for you - return two envelopes on the same day via mail, one gets cashed, the other disappears. You log into the website seeking to set up electronic payments, website asks for 10-digit account number, but your invoice only has a 5 digit number! And this is when I AM TRYING TO PAY MY POLICY PREMIUM!!!! Imagine how hard it is to collect anything from them - as the good folks leaving reviews here are finding out. I am going to be writing to the regulators soon, this was amusing for a while but is now getting really irritating and offensive. The folks running this company should be ashamed, if that is a feasible emotion for them

I would put less than one star if I could. This company sold my mother a long term insurance policy in 1991 that had fine print making it completely unusable when she went into an assisted living facility a few months ago. Mom paid CNA for 31 years thinking she would be taken care of. In the end all that has happened is CNA pretending it is doing the right thing by denying her claims because a full time skilled nurse is not on staff. The state of California accepts this facility, but apparently CNA has a higher standard than the state. The clause is there to make sure that CNA can keep all of the money for themselves. I added up the amount my mother paid, counting interest since 1991 and it comes to over $144,000. They are unwilling to give her a dime.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I give you fair warning. They will steal every cent they can from you and give you nothing in return. Then the nice people on the phone will try to justify their theft as they laugh their way to the bank. This company is worse than a scam call center stealing from the elderly. At least what the scammers do is illegal.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
