I have been a customer at Middleburg Bank for 12 years, always had free checking. Now I'm informed that I have to maintain a $1500. Balance! I am on a fixed income I can't afford this. So I visited the bank to see if I could get an account with a smaller minimum deposit. I was politely told no. So apparently Access Bank only values wealthy clients, if you are poor on a fixed income your not welcome. This bank does not care about you just your deposits. Don't open an account here if you're not wealthy!!!!

Wow this bank is refreshing. Their customer service is outstanding. They always go above and beyond to support my business.

They is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. i was will Middleburg for 10 years and never had an issue. Access National Bank took over and I have had nothing but issues. it's time for me to move on. they don't even deserve the 1 star.

After more than a decade with Middleburg, Access National Bank took over and changed policies on small accounts implementing a $15 monthly service charge, apparently for balances under $1500. So they emptied out $105 of a $235 dollar account without any consideration of how ludicrous that would be for anyone that was aware of what was going on. Poor service, poor online tools, simply an outdated company that doesn't even provide a good local experience anymore.

If I could possibly give the Reston location negative marks I would. The branch manager (Diane) was less than helpful over the phone even when the issue turned out to be with the bank (Shocker). Access took Middleburg Bank over and COMPLETELY destroyed a wonderful customer focused financial institution. All this bank is interested in is how much money they can make off depositors. I had to call into the call center to get someone to help remotely figure out what the BANK had done to my account and then go into the Ashburn location. Thankfully the manager and staff at the Ashburn branch were super nice and accommodating. They fixed my issue so that I could return back to work knowing my account was correct now. I'll NEVERuse Reston for ANYTHING again. Not even to withdrawal money from the ATM.

They deserve a zero for lacking service and no easy access. No weekend hours and no access for disabled. Lots of steps to climb to get into the building. No drive-thru and horrible phone service. What is up with them?
