The Government Affairs and Economic Development Committee will meet on August 6. The Committee will welcome all five candidates for the Arlington County Board seat in the November general election. Democratic incumbent Takis Karantonis, Independent challengers Audrey Clement, Jeramy Olmack and Carlos De Castro Pretelt, and Republican challenger Bob Cambridge will each give remarks on their policy platform to the Committee, and take select questions.

Women in Business Networking Series

This series of women-focused networking events is open to those who want to expand their network, share knowledge, exchange ideas, and offer advice. The events focus on networking to grow your business opportunties and support others who appreciate what it's like to be a woman in business.

Transportation

There is plenty of street parking surrounding the restaurant, payable via ParkMobile app. Across the street under Uncle Julios is the One Parking garage as well. Facility Address: 4301 N Fairfax Dr, Arlington, VA 22203, USA. Enter this location at 1040 N Taylor Street. This is a One Parking facility located on the west side of Taylor Street, just off of Fairfax Drive. This facility is also known as Ballston Station. Height Restriction: 6'6" The venue is conveniently located just steps away from the Ballston-MU metro station, accessible by Orange & Silver trains. Less than 2 minute walk.

Join us for this lovely and relaxing event: a sound bath in the wondrous Tiffany Gallery. This gallery hosts a wall of original Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows that glow brilliantly in the afternoon light.

No prior experience required. Dress comfortably (and for warmth). Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and a journal for the option to reflect creatively at the end.

Experienced facilitators will use a variety of sound instruments, including chimes, crystal quartz, and tibetan sound bowls, to bathe you in beautiful sounds as you lay or sit comfortably through the event.
