LeadShare provides introductions and warm referrals to member businesses and business leaders within the Arlington community. The group meets to build relationships, share best business practices, and discuss types of clients and opportunities members are targeting.

Provided as a free member benefit of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, any member is eligible to participate in LeadShare. However, participation in the group will ultimately be limited to one vertical industry per member. The Chamber maintains a waiting list for additional interest.

You didn’t start your business to keep financial records and file taxes, but they’re important activities for managing it. Plus, the IRS expects you to follow the income tax rules, whether you know them or not. This workshop helps individuals who are in business for herself/himself, aka Sole Proprietors, gain awareness of rules and resources about allowable business expenses, financial recordkeeping, projecting income tax liability, estimated tax payments, and income tax filing.

Christine Searle helps businesses and non-profits get the most from their resources and control over their finances. For over 30 years, Christine has advised organizations about their controls and processes, including 24 years at American National Red Cross. When she left Red Cross to expand her own business, Christine was an Audit Director responsible for internal audits of finance, supply chain, and disaster relief programs. For 35 years, Christine has prepared income tax and information returns for individuals, businesses, estates, and non-profits. Her expertise in complex tax issues and tax law compliance is built upon a five-year career in personal financial planning. Christine is a certified internal auditor, certified in risk management assurance, and an enrolled agent, a designation earned from the IRS.
