Arlington County has started a review of the Clarendon Sector Plan to update policy guidance for development in that neighborhood. Brett Wallace and Jen Smith of the Arlington County Planning Division will join the Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee on Wednesday, December 2 to share details about the scope and timeline for that update. Then, after their presentation, the committee will resolve into a working session to draft the Chamber’s response to the County Board and School Board’s legislative proposals.

NCE's Holiday Concert will bring the finest classical masterpieces and holiday favorites together for the whole family. The festivities begin with Leroy Anderson's classic "Sleigh Ride" and "Chanukkah Festival" in a setting by Daniel Leavitt. Outstanding Young Artist Award competition winners will join the ensemble to perform. A Carols Sing-Along, concludes the program to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Since our shop has been closed to the public, we know it’s tricky to see our inventory in person. On Saturday, December 12th at 10:00am, we’re having an all-outdoor, socially distanced bike sale at the Arlington Mill Community Center plaza, right next to our shop! We’ll be limiting entry to our sale area to 5 customers at a time, and we’ll have different entry and exit points. Sale bikes will be six feet apart, and we ask that you please be mindful of other customers and staff in the sale area and while you’re waiting in line. Please wear a mask at all times during the sale and bring hand sanitizer! Check out the bikes we’ll be selling here: https://phoenix-bikes.shoplightspeed.com/ We'll be able to ring up transactions on site (cards preferred!) for bikes, accessories, and parts. We will have 4 bins of used parts (front+rear derailleurs, road caliper brakes, and linear pull brakes) for purchase as well.

The Chamber's monthly Small Business Roundtable offers an important educational opportunity to smaller businesses.
