“Pros, Cons and Risks of Using Free Apps for Business”

In an ever-adapting world of smart phones, portable tablets and “life in the cloud,” it’s hard keeping up-to-date on the latest and greatest of today’s technology. When new technology trends are introduced, how do you know what’s right for use at your business? And how can you ensure the use of these applications effectively with no security risks?

Join us on Tuesday, February 14 for a lunch and learn forum as we discuss the pros, cons and security risks associated with staff using free web or cloud based applications for business purposes. Discover the security risks and liabilities of using free or inexpensive cloud applications such as Gmail, Google Apps, Zoho and Yahoo that are outside of your firewall. Who can you trust in this rapidly changing area of the Internet?

Registration is free for Chamber members, $25 for non-members. Registration includes catered lunch. Although free for members, registration is required to reserve a seat.
