Event Description: The Arlington County, Virginia, Department of Technology Services (DTS) will conduct its Annual Industry Briefing on Thursday, November 17, 2011, beginning at 9:00 A.M. The goal is to create an open and transparent understanding of the County's technology directions and ensure all potential information technology providers have an equal and fair opportunity to compete for County business. DTS will present the state of the County's technology, current and pending initiatives, future plans and where the County seeks assistance in defining its direction. Technology managers from other County departments may also be in attendance. The process by which interested firms register with the County to ensure they are aware of and included in future solicitations will also be presented. The County presentations will be followed by a question and answer period.

The presentations will be conducted in the Arlington County Boardroom, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Suite 300, Arlington, Virginia, 22201. RSVP’s are not being taken but due to space limitations, each attending firm will be limited to two participants.
