Event Description: The Arlington Philharmonic’s fall concert will be held November 6 at 3:00pm in the Washington-Lee Auditorium. A. Scott Wood, Conductor, will lead the Philharmonic in selections from Gustav Holst’s Brook Green Suite, Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring and other American and British gems. The Philharmonic’s strings are joined by woodwinds and piano. Several solo turns round out this glorious afternoon of gentle music. Admission is free (donations are appreciated). The afternoon promises to offer an unforgettable performance for both the music lover and those beginning to appreciate the art of music.
