Event Description: America's largest and longest running Beatles ® Tribute Festival, Abbey Road on the River (AROTR), will return to the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from September 1st - 5th, bringing more than 50 bands from around the world to National Harbor. The American Red Cross will receive 40 percent of the revenue generated from tickets purchased through the following site, www.abbeyroadontheriver.com/redcross.php, and $5 from every ticket sold at the box office during the five-day festival. Labor Day, Monday, September 5, will be designated as American Red Cross Day and 50 percent of all walk-up tickets sold that day will go to the American Red Cross. A silent auction featuring a signature Gretsch Guitar and other Beatles art and merchandise will be held during the event, with proceeds benefitting the cause. In addition, Red Cross preparedness items will be sold at the festival.
