Event Description:
The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee invites all interested Chamber members to its special meeting on Friday, June 10th at 9:00a.m. for a conversation with County Board Chairman Chris Zimmerman regarding his small business initiative that is looking at zoning, signage, and other issues of importance to our members. (Note: Please do not confuse this meeting with our June 21st State of the County event with Mr. Zimmerman.) You do not need to be a member of this Committee to attend.

The format of the meeting will be an open discussion and an opportunity for Chamber members to give input as to what they believe are the priority areas that are obstacles to your business and that need study and/or fixing.

There is no charge to attend but you will need to register.

Online pre-registration will be available until 3:00pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Over-the-phone pre-registration will be available until 4:30pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011. To register by phone, you may contact the Chamber's Member Services Administrator, Leticia Cano, directly at (703) 525-2400.

The event location will be at the offices of Bean, Kinney & Korman at 2300 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 700. Parking is available in the building garage and at nearby on-street meters.
