Event Description: a mixed repertory performance by Forty+, performers past the age of 40 features new works by Andrea Ligon, Emily Crews, and recent works by Jane Franklin. Forty+ is a group of performers past the age of 40. Forty+ meets weekly with a local contemporary choreographer to build a new work for performance. The repertory for Forty+ is maintained year round. Performances take place at centers serving older adults and at Theatre on the Run. Forty+ is open to people of all physical facility, at any age, regardless of previous experience in the performing arts. Enjoy the expressiveness of movement and the collaborative creative process through these performances by older dancers.
