Event Description: There are a few spaces remaining for our educational summit, A Call to Action: The Way Forward, on February 27, 2015. Attendees will earn 7 CEU's and have the opportunity to hear from the following guest speakers: The summit features keynote speeches by two of our nation’s most respected experts in the field of addiction treatment, Dr. David Mee-Lee and Dr. Andrew Kolodny. We will offer two different tracks for attendees: Dr. Mee-Lee will provide clinical insight into the new ASAM criteria, and Dr. Kolodny will focus on the policy aspects and epidemic proportions of today’s addiction crisis. Attendees will leave the summit with increased clinical knowledge and seven continuing education credits. Participants also will gain a deeper understanding of the state of addiction and recovery in this country—and what we can do to improve it moving forward.
