Event Description: Cute Animals – a practice and performance project with dogs & owners! At the dog park, most people know the names of the dogs, but not the name of the owner. Participate along with a casual community of animal lovers and spark a connection with those who share this common interest. We are looking for dogs and owners from the Duke Street dog park, from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, Charles Beatley Library’s PAWS reading program, Alexandria Animal Welfare League at Vola Lawson Animal Shelter and for anyone else in the neighboring area. It is free to participate at the 3 practices: Aug 18, 25 & Sept 8 at 6:30 with a performance on Sept 10 at 7 pm at Beatley Library, 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria.
