Event Description: Volunteers of America is one of the largest homeless service providers in Northern Virginia - provides services for over 1,800 men, women and children. We also host a growing program serving over 100 veterans. There are still many in our communities who need our help to get back on track. We are looking forward to having Arlington Chairman Walter Tejada and Fairfax County Supervisor Penny Gross join us at the Volunteers of America "Called to Care" Campaign event on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Sheraton Pentagon City from 12 Noon - 1:30 p.m. The event is focused on the Northern Virginia efforts to end homelessness and efforts to increase the number of units of affordable housing.
