Now that you’ve learned how to prepare for writing a grant in our last forum, join the Community Action Committee's discussion led by Patricia Pasqual, Director of the Foundation Center in DC, on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 11:30 am to 1:00pm at WETA to learn about how to actually write your grant. Pasqual oversees the office’s information services, training programs, special events and plans outreach to local, national, and international nonprofit organizations and to grant makers, as well as to Congress and the Center's Cooperating Collections in the mid-Atlantic region.

During this lunch forum, Pasqual will discuss key components of a proposal including how the proposal fits into the overall grantseeking process, what to include in a standard proposal to a foundation, tips for making each section of your proposal stronger, what funders expect to see in your proposal and attachments, tips for communicating with funders during the grant process, and additional resources on proposal writing, including sample proposals.

REGISTRATION
