Celebrate the holidays with AWLA! You’ll decorate cookies for our dogs, make a fun holiday craft, and learn how foster families help shelter pets find a warm and loving home—especially during the holidays.

Kids CARE Club (Creating a Responsible Environment) is a program series for animal lovers ages 4-10 and their families to learn how to keep pets and wildlife safe through hands-on activities and crafts. Caregivers must attend along with their children. If you have multiple children attending, please purchase one spot each. Although Kids CARE Club is a free program, donations to our Humane Education fund are appreciated and help us to provide more children’s programs like these!

Our annual Santa Bowl Flag Football Tournament is back, and this year we’re pumped to be partnering with Bridges to Independence again to collect supplies and toiletries for those experiencing homelessness in Arlington.

Our friends at Redbull will be providing music, entertainment, merchandise + more!

GAMEPLAY/RULES:

The Santa Bowl is a 7v7 Mixed Gender tournament at Long Bridge Park in Arlington.

Teams will be guaranteed 3 games, and the winning team will be awarded medals and a trophy.

Minimum team size is 10 players (team fee covers 14 spots).

Individual

General Entry – $37.50 (NO TEAM PREPAID), runs through November 30th
Late Fee added December 1st

Team (save per player when you pre-pay for a full team)

General Entry – $525 per team, runs through November 30
Late Entry – $650 per team begins on December 1st

Registration closes Tuesday, December 2nd or when tournament reaches capacity (whichever comes first)

Join us for the third training session of the Arlington Child Care Alliance Program; this training will give an overview of the Subsidy Program and answer common questions about enrollment, payments, and anything else you may want to know. Attendees will receive $35 per session, per provider (not per person). If you attend at least three training sessions out of four, you will complete the program and will receive $100 thank-you payment at the end.

This is part of a bigger effort to make child care more available and affordable for families in Arlington while helping child care providers grow and succeed. We recognize the important role that family day home providers play and want to help them succeed.
