The Chamber reserves the right to deny admittance to the event if a nonmember has already attended three events. Transportation

VIDA Fitness will validate all parking tickets for the 4040 Wilson Blvd parking structure to make the payment only $1 versus the regular fee of $15. Additionally, the 4040 Wilson structure only accepts physical credit/debit cards as payment for parking fees. Street parking is available on Wilson, Randolph, and the surrounding neighborhood. There are Arlington county lots available across the street. We are also Metro accessible by both bus and train.

The Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee meeting on January 22 will feature the 2025 Chair of the Arlington County Board. The 2025 Chair will be announced and sworn in at the January 2 organizational meeting. At the Committee meeting, the Chair will discuss priorities for 2025 as they relate to businesses and the economy, and will answer questions from Chamber membership.

Description

If you’re a business owner, join us at the Small Business Round table to learn more about Arlington County Business tax filing and due dates. The Arlington County Commissioner of Revenue (CoR) Kim Klingler will give a presentation on her roles and responsibilities for assessing Arlington County business taxes. Small business owners will see how all Arlington County businesses interact with CoR’s Business Tax Division when it comes to the Business Professional and Occupational License (BPOL) tax and business property such as computers and office furniture, known as the business tangible tax. Ms. Klingler will also talk about bank franchise tax; administering custodial taxes (cigarette, county meals , short-term rental, and transient occupancy (hotel); and conducting audits to ensure that businesses report their gross receipts properly.
