A few years ago I participate in "Team In Training" and raised $3500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in exchange they trained me to hike the Grand Canyon.

During the 3 month Team In Training program I hiked many of the wonderful open space park in the silicon valley area.

I think that any program that helps raise money to help fight sickness, disease and cancer is great.

If you are looking to get yourself in shape the L&L Society's Team in Training definitely can help you all around from the phyiscal training to the fund raising.

Even if you go at it from a selfish point of view that's fine because they (L&L Society) will benefit from your fund raising since you can't full complete your training without 100% committing to the total amount of funding raising you will do based on the training program you decide to pursue.

I may participate again this year. I'll see. Fundraising is not a strong point for me but if I've done it once I know I can do it again. What bout chu?

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a great organization that is committed to fighting cancer. As a person who has have friends and family who have been diagnosed with cancer, this organization provides support in every aspect. The society also provides a variety of ways to raise money for cancer research. One of the most popular ways the Team in Training program.
