Yesterday,
Late at night, my wife and I returned home to find our next door neighbor had their car parked in my reserved spot.

My wife and I have had this both happen to use before and she recognized the car immediately. This repeated behavior of doing this has annoyed us, but we still knock on the door to get their attention and have the car removed. Several attempts were made and they ignored the loud, but respectful knocks. We know they heard the konocks on their door which only infuriated us.
"Hello neighbor, please remove the wax from your ears."

Personally, I prefer the spelling of this word HENRI, but that's just me. Anyhow, I called them and was greated by a woman with a little more patience than Janine Melnitz aka Annie Potts. The woman took down my information than told they will send someone out. She also told me they were very busy. I don't know what was going on in her life, but she seemed very on edge, but with some sort of civility in her manner of speaking to me. I appreciate that, because I too was not in the best of moods and civility plays a key role in things. Especially tonight.

Unfortunately, the note my wife and I put on this Joker's car is what ultimately ended up saving his (yes, my wife ended up speaking to him) ass from getting his vichele towed.

I called back Henri's Towing and spoke to the woman again. She seemed to remember me and appreciated the call back to let her know the car parked in my space had vacated. The woman seemed to have a smile in her voice as I told her this. She thanked me as we both hung up the phone.

I don't know how many times this company gets a call about a vichele in question for towing. Then client never calls back to notify Henri's Towing that the vichele is now gone. This wastes precious time for both parties. This has got to be very frustrating, so I believe communication from both parties is important.

I will call upon this company again should my neighbors park in my reserved parking spot. The days of knocking on doors to ask my neighbors to "please move your car" are over. No more playing stupid or saying I didn't know. You have been told.

Next time, is Henri Time.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our car was illegally towed out of a visitor spot at an apartment complex. We were told that they had a contract with the PM company and that we would have to take it up with them. Now the tow was unfortunate but really has our gears twisted is that as soon as we got the car back all of our tires now had low tire pressure and the car is shifting really hard. They obviously handled our car very hard on top of quite literally stealing our car.

I had an accident after 7 day when came out the hospital I had to pay 770 I go inside to pick up my bike and it's been lay down in dirt and gravel for 7 days so the engine got over flooded

My work van got towed by the State police. I'm okay with that. I payed the fees around 10am. My work van broke down and left it on 495. Over night it got towed. And found out that HWS had it. Cool. I went and spend 1 hour with them, just to pay the fees. And no one was there. So it wasn't busy. I had my mechanic with me. The fix was going to be quick. Probably and max 30mins. I asked very nice if we could do it there and told me straight up no with an attitude. And then I ask if they could tow the van across the street, less than a mile. They told me 85$ will be the cost to put the van on the other side of the place. I was like ok. Cool I can pay that. So I did. Then I was thinking maybe I could get it tow to my place, only 6 miles so 28$. I was like perfect, then I asked how long, they told me 30mins to one hour. I was like perfect! So the payment was worth it. I headed back to my place, and we're talking around 10:30am. So I waited an hour and a half. I called and asked, they said everyone's busy right now. I get it. And someone told me, we will do it as soon as possible. Ok. Hoping that they will do it in less in a hour. I waited until 12:30! I called again and whoever I talked to who was a she, told me, "ohhhh they're getting ready to leave." And nicely I responded with, oh okay thank you. Then I called again around 1:30, same lady said yes the driver is leaving now. Cool. Now it's 2:45pm. And still not here. I'm waiting with my mechanic. It's about to be 3pm. So I played more then 100$ for my work van to get tow to my place and they are not even here yet. What kind of business is this? A business that is not responsible and liars. They do not respect their clients, and only think about money. I am furious right now. The fact that I couldn't fix it at this place, that's understandable, they want to make money. But making their Clients wait who has payed and promised that it could take one hour to tow the vehicle but I been waiting for 4 hours. This business doesn't care about their clients, it's all about the money and that's just so disappointed. I do not recommen this place. Ohhhhh and now it's raining. So I lost a day of work because of HWS. Just wow.

As ALL towing companies, these people will try to squeeze as much money from you as possible!!
They charge you for ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!!
Cost of towing a regular car $ 228.00
Cost per day $ 80.00
Cost to pull your car out from their yard to the street $ 65.00 and this is NON negotiable! Weather you like it or not you WILL pay this ridiculous fee!
What a rip off!! Looks like they have a contract with Fairfax Co or the police dept.. a good "business" for all parties involved!

I wanted to respond to Henry's Wrecker Service's FALSE follow up. I never noticed that they had left it, so it has taken me several years to even notice it.

It is absolutely FALSE that security contacted Henry's to tow my car. It was the security agent who authorized me to park in the spot for over 30 minutes! I was moving in to the property and pulled up in another spot first and told security I had some boxes and items in the car and that I needed to set up a piece of furniture so I would have room in the small apartment to move the rest of my stuff in. I told him this would take over 30 minutes, but I didn't have a permit yet, so I needed to know where I could park. HE directed me to the 30 minute temporary spot, and when I said "well this says 30 minutes limit," he pretty much said verbatim, "Don't worry. I would have to call the towing company, and I'm not. You're fine."

Well after my car was towed, I had an extensive conversation with Woodlake Towers, and it turns out their contract with Henry's lets Henry's just patrol the lot and tow cars that seem to be wrongly parked. They don't need a call from anyone. They just roam around like a pack of wolves looking for someone to chew up. Well that is PREDATORY, because people can often (like me) have reasons they are parked as they are, and even have the permission of the property (as I did).

And because I was so upset at this, I reached out to my local supervisors. I found out that they had the SAME concerns I had. They had once passed a law preventing predatory towing in Arlington County. But that was overridden by the Republican legislature, which sided with the towing companies and their lobbyists. Now that Democrats are in control of the legislature, and are likely to be a bit more consumer friendly, it is time to get laws passed preventing these predatory towing companies from towing without an explicit request from the property!

April 13, 2019 - I went to Mosaic last night, Friday, April 12, (around 5:45 PM) to enjoy my evening at Matchbox. At around 8:00 PM, I did the responsible thing and left my car there and Ubered home. I probably had one extra drink than my usual 1 1/2 drinks. I get nervous about getting pulled over while slightly tipsy and would never dream of driving in a state where I have impaired judgment. That said, I went to get my car the next morning around 9 AM and found my car had been towed by these crooks. I called the number that I found on ONE sign at Mosaic on the first floor (there are four parking levels at the garage across from West Elm) and went right over to Harry's busted property. I get there and am charged $180. I'm mad, but I have to pay the sky-high amount to get my car. After paying, I hopscotch over road ditches and car debris parts and find my car on top of rubble and car parts debris. As well, it was parked 4 inches from a crashed car and next to a heap of more car parts debris. I immediately checked for damage to my car, as one would assume it would have never been towed backwards without a mishap. I found nothing, but getting to my driver's side, I nearly fell face first into the pile of car parts (bumpers, basically car junk). Imagine the accident that could have happened to me had I fallen into broken car debris. Safety hazard at a 10 level.

On my way out, I asked a worker why my car was parked where it was if there was another lot on the other side where one would think my nice car would have ended up. He, too, was surprised why my car would have been parked in an area that is reserved for damaged and crashed cars.

All that aside, (Mosaic, if you're reading this, you're going to get a heads-up that I'm building my case against you for an unfair towing policy), I did research on Mosaic and Henry's and found on Google reviews (for Mosaic) that someone was charged $160 for getting his car out one month ago, after parking overnight at Mosaic and getting towed by Henry's. Interesting discovery.

Seconds into my research, I get a call back from Mosaic Security, after 4 hours of leaving a message to ask them about the towing policy for my car, and the security guard told me Henry's told them I'd have to pay $180 to get my car out. Super interesting. I called Henry's after hanging up with Mosaic Security and question the irregular pricing of $180 vs. $185 and then the $160 from the tow a month prior from the Google review. Of course, the supervisor at that time (11:15 AM Saturday, April 13) denied quoting the security guard anything. Lies. Why would a security guard pull out a random $185 figure from the sky, I asked him. I asked who was in charge, and he said Henry, the owner. He gave me the 703.698.8900 number to take my issue of irregular pricing w/this Harry character.

After hanging up with the supervisor, I called the 703# and asked for Harry. The front desk woman (lacks customer service) told me there's no Harry and that a 'Harry' is not the owner's name. She then asked me what this was about. Not wanting to talk to someone with zero authority, b/c it would be in vain and a waste of eight minutes that I cannot get back, I ask for a name of the person in charge, the owner, the chief who needs to hear my complaint about irregular pricing and shady business practices. Shes gives me TIM SPIEGELMAN's name. Gotcha. It's a Saturday, so Mr. SPIEGELMAN will be hearing from me on Monday morning. This is far from over.

Do not use these guys. Had them bring my car to the dealership for a repair. Driver was told the dealership was expecting it and said they would take care of things at that end. Called dealer hours later, after I had gone most of the day without hearing from them, and they had no idea where it was. Had to have the poor service guy search the lot for it. Found it in a back corner with the keys in plain view on the dashboard. Anybody could have driven off with it. Though they probably wouldn't have gotten very far.

My 2021 Cadillac Escalade broke down (yeah, I know) on the way to a family trip in SC. We waited for 3 hours in 95 degree heat for roadside that never showed up. I called Henry's and they came in under 30 minutes. Loaded my truck without and took it to the dealership. They saved us and our trip. So grateful. Thanks y'all!!!
