CubeSmart Self Storage

CubeSmart has turned out to be outrageously expensive. After only 6 months, they raised my rate by $53 a month. The rate I was originally quoted was their "regular " rate -- not a teaser rate.

Apparently they do employ "teaser rates".

There are better, less costly storage options in the area.

I used this storage when I moved out of DC in light of the pandemic. The place looks brand new. Everything is clean and elevators are working. The protection system of the gate and the code to use for the elevator provides peace of mind. The property managers and courteous and helpful. Would use again.

Great managers! They are on top of things, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Move in was a breeze. The location is super convenient for me and is always clean and covid-safe.

Cannot rave enough about CubeSmart! I reserved the unit ahead of time. Management called to confirm and walk me through the process. Prior to going to the unit, I received my code for the building gate, building entrance, and elevator. My unit was spotlessly clean. They provide plenty of moving carts. Plenty of parking spots to be able to unload. When I left, I felt my items were super secure. Move out process was easy too! I just took my stuff, notified the manager I was finished with the unit and that was it! No pain in having to cancel my payment or worries of being charged for extra months. I would 100% use a unit here again!!

Love this storage outfit. It's still fairly new. I think I might have been the first to use my unit as it was immaculate. The whole place is temperature controlled, has soft elevator music, and the elevators are large. The downside is that you don't have access 24 hours a day. To get it, you need to type your code in at the gate, and then to get in the building. Then again anytime you want the elevator to move. It's a lot of work, but that level of security coupled with cameras, is appreciated. The downside to the security is that it's a pain when you're moving a lot of stuff.

Tip: The staff can lock the door into the building open, so that it doesn't keep closing when you're unloading your truck. A small time savings, but still helpful.

I also like that they have dollies for you to use next to the elevator.

I love this place... it wasn't the closest storage facility to me but totally worth driving a little further for what I got...

For one, the place is like Fort Knox... you have to put your code in at the gate, the door to the facility and on the elevator to get to your cube... so three times... I appreciate the security that provides, particularly the elevator one

I have one of the upper small lockers that requires a ladder to be reached which is not ideal for storing a lot of really heavy items but sufficed for my purposes and was offered at an unbeatable price

It is really clean and the staff is really nice... hard to ask for better

The customer service here is incredible. This place is remarkably well-run, and everyone who works here seems to be professional and friendly. I just ended a three-month stay here and--having had some subpar experiences with other storage facilities--couldn't be happier with this one.

A few quick notes:
--This place is spotless inside. It's new and it shows.
--To get to your unit, you have to enter a code three times, so it feels pretty safe.
--If you have any problem at all, the employees are very responsive. From opening an account to renting the on-site moving truck, they were very helpful all around.
--Lots of parking near the elevators, making unloading pretty easy.
--Two huge working elevators also help.

If I had any recommendation for improvement, it would be for the facility to purchase an extra few carts, as people would sometimes need to wait for them on weekends. But all around, great facility.

10/10! This is by far the best experience I've had with any storage facility, or even any moving company or company associated with moving. I just moved out of the country and they've been outstanding to work with, and extremely helpful all along the way.

They've even redone the invoice a few times to placate our corporate HR department! The storage facility itself is immaculate as it's brand new. We're the first tenant in the unit. It's safe and secure and easy to access right off of 66.

I can't say enough positive things about the facility and especially the management team. They've outdone themselves on hiring smart, helpful personnel. I have to give a special shout out to Cynthia Palacios who has been the point person and if you can work with her, you won't be disappointed. She will be whatever you need to make it right.
